Our Solution:
We developed a custom extruded bearing used by Hallco Industries in their moving floor systems for semi-trailers. These plastic bearings sit beneath metal slats that shift back and forth to move bulk material — reducing friction, resisting corrosion, and delivering years of reliable performance in demanding conditions.
🚜 Challenge: UV Exposure and Field Durability
One of our long-term agricultural OEM partners needed drop pipes and goosenecks that could endure years of sun exposure, temperature changes, and high water flow.
Our Solution:
By extruding with UV-stabilized PVC and maintaining tight process control, we produced components that consistently meet strength and dimensional requirements — helping the customer maintain reliability across thousands of field installations.
⚡ Challenge: Protecting Solar System Anchors in Harsh Conditions
Valmont Solar, a leading provider of solar infrastructure solutions, needed a way to protect in-ground steel anchor systems for ground-mounted solar arrays installed across the colder Northeast U.S.
Our Solution:
Lincoln Plastics engineered a custom PVC extrusion used as a protective cover over each vertical anchor pipe. These covers provide a corrosion-resistant barrier that withstands freeze-thaw cycles and soil movement — ensuring the solar support structures stay stable and last longer in harsh climates.
