Lincoln Plastics underwent many positive changes in 2014.  Perhaps the most significant is changing our name from Geist Plastics to Lincoln Plastics.  Along with the name change came an updated website and online presence.  Lincoln Plastics also added the position of sales manager.  In addition to those changes we also made changes to increase our capabilities, by adding new equipment.Name ChangeGeist Plastics became Lincoln Plastics in 2014. The reason for the name change of the 66-year-old company is to reduce brand confusion. Geist Plastics is a division of PCE, Inc., a privately-held corporation that also owns Geist Global, a data-center solutions group located in Lincoln. “Another benefit of the name change,” says Dominic Pynes, president of the Lincoln-NE-based plastic profile extrusion division since 2003, “is that it highlights our location in the heartland. We have easy access to major trucking, air transport, international shipping and other logistical partners, which is often a selling point for our customers.”Updated Online PresenceAlong with the name change Lincoln Plastics, along with sister companies HTI Plastics and Apex Plastics, also released an updated website. The three companies make up the Plastics Division of PCE, Inc. The decision to update the sites was made in an effort to better serve our customers. In addition to an updated design, the websites also feature improved navigation to provide a more user-friendly experience. All three sites were created using responsive web design, allowing the sites to be easily viewed on all devices, such as a PC, tablet, and smart phone.New Updated Equipment

  • Ability to make round or profile extrusions that are 13″ wide or 13″ in diameter
  • Purchased and renovated a new “profile table” sizing system.
  • Purchased a new Flow-Tech base tool
  • Invested in inline QC equipment
